Coursework and Clinic:
An Interconnected Curriculum
Curriculum
The Physical Therapy program provides a broad curriculum to help you become the best physical therapist that you can be. In addition to classroom, lab and clinical experience, you learn from your peers through interprofessional education experiences.
The School: Meeting Your Expectations
The primary goal of the Physical Therapy program is to graduate a well-rounded and highly competent clinician. By graduation, students have spent 39 weeks in full-time clinical learning experiences.
Clinical Placements
High quality clinical education is critical in developing our students into competent physical therapists. Integral to this is the partnership with and development of top-notch clinical education sites and clinical instructors.
A Day in the Life
Prospective students often ask us, “What is a day in the life of a student really like? How many hours do they study? Do they bring lunch or eat in the dining hall?” So we went straight to the source and asked some of our current students about a typical day. A Day in the Life gives you a glimpse of what you can expect.
